Live Rooted
Simple rhythms, meaningful faith, and everyday choices that help us live with greater intention.
“Being rooted does not mean life is always calm. It means knowing where to return when it is not.”

A Quiet Morning with Jesus
One of the most life-giving rhythms in my home begins before the rest of the house wakes up.
For years, I've set my alarm about 30 minutes before my kids get up so I can enjoy a quiet moment with the Lord. A warm cup of coffee, my Bible, and Jesus Calling have become part of that daily rhythm.
I don't follow the dates in the book—I simply pick up where I left off. Some mornings are missed, and that's okay. Over the years I've read it several times, filling the pages with notes, prayers, and reminders of God's faithfulness. Every time I read it again, something new stands out.
Those quiet moments help prepare my heart before the busyness of the day begins. They remind me to slow down, be still, and keep my eyes on Christ.
If you're looking for a place to begin your own morning rhythm, I can't recommend this book enough.

Feature: Theo of Golden
Theo of Golden is one of those rare books that stays with you long after you've turned the last page. Through quiet acts of kindness, genuine community, and gentle reminders of grace, it encourages you to slow down, love people well, and notice the ways God is often at work in the ordinary moments of life.

(I enjoyed the audiobook while folding laundry, cooking dinner, or driving from place to place. It was the perfect companion for the everyday rhythms of life.)
This Month I'm Listening To…
Song: Made for More — Josh Baldwin featuring Jenn Johnson
Why It's Encouraging Me:
This song has been on repeat in our home lately. It's a reminder that God created us for more than comfort—He calls us to love others well, open our homes, serve faithfully, and be His hands and feet in the everyday moments.
It's encouraging me to see every shared meal, open door, and ordinary day as an opportunity to point others to Christ.
I hope it encourages you, too.
A Prayer for This Month:
"Lord, help me see the people You've placed in front of me today, and give me the courage to love them well."
Reflect:
"How is God inviting you to be His hands and feet where He's placed you today?"
